What members have shared about The In Between

These women are describing their experiences inside The In Between membership.

“During the first and second trimesters after struggling with infertility for 1.5 years, I didn't know where I belonged anymore. For many weeks, The In Between was the only safe space I had to go each week to share my fears, anxieties, little wins and vents with others who understood exactly what I was going through. I feel very fortunate to have been able to connect with other women who were going through exactly what I was, a unique experience compared to other in-person and online pregnancy communities.”Eden F, member
“The In Between was such a valuable resource for me as I navigated pregnancy after years of infertility and loss. I really appreciated the opportunity to connect with other women who had also gone through these experiences. It was a safe space to talk openly and without judgment about my fear and anxiety, commiserate with others, and feel reassured. I am so grateful to Dr. Liner for creating this space!”Stephanie, member

Why should I attend “You’re Finally Pregnant. Now What Do You Do With All the Fear and Worry?”

You may have spent months or years focused on getting pregnant. Now you’re here, and there’s a whole new set of appointments, decisions, and feelings to navigate. A reassuring scan might help for a day or two, while everyone around you seems ready to talk about names and nurseries.

In this two-hour workshop, I’ll walk you through The In Between Framework, drawing on my work as a reproductive psychologist and my own experience of pregnancy after infertility and loss.

We’ll make sense of what you’re carrying and practice ways to handle the moments when fear starts making decisions for you.

You’ll leave with:

  • Language for why good news can be hard to absorb. Understand how repeated setbacks and uncertainty can shape your response to pregnancy, even when your medical team is pleased with how things are progressing.
  • A way to recognize when fear is making rules. We’ll name patterns like magical thinking and worries about “jinxing it,” then explore how to make choices about sharing, connecting, or planning that reflect what you actually want.
  • Practical tools for an anxious moment. Try a grounding exercise, learn to separate facts from fear’s predictions, and find a phrase you can return to between appointments or during a hard night.
  • A starting point for connecting with and preparing for this pregnancy. Explore small, manageable steps, whether that’s taking a private photo, researching childcare, or thinking about birth, at a pace that respects what you’re carrying.
  • A clearer sense of what support fits you. Learn what to consider when choosing pregnancy groups or prenatal classes, and ways to respond to questions like “Is this your first?” without sharing more than you want to.

A little more support for the moments between appointments

Understanding why you feel this way can be a relief. Having something to reach for when the fear comes back can help you put that understanding to use.

Maybe you wake up and immediately start checking whether your symptoms feel the same. Maybe someone asks about your baby shower and you suddenly want to leave the conversation. Or you’ve been putting off something you actually want to do because acknowledging the pregnancy feels risky.

What would it feel like to have a starting point in those moments?

A grounding exercise you’ve already practiced. A way to sort through what you know and what your brain is predicting. A sentence ready for a question you don’t want to answer. A small next step that feels manageable, even with uncertainty still there.

That’s what I want you to take from our time together: a clearer understanding of your experience and practical options for responding to it.

You can come exactly as you are, without sharing your personal history or trying to sound more positive than you feel. Your camera can be on or off, and you can take part in the conversation or simply listen and take what’s useful.
